Abstract:"Objective: Recent literature suggests that HIV-infection is associated With impairment in both time-based(TB) and event-based(EB) prospective memory (ProM). Given its more prominent demands onself - initiated monitoring and retrieval, it has been hypothesized that TB ProM may never the less be more strongly associated with executive functions and prefrontostriatal systems than EB ProM. The current study sought to evaluate this hypothesis in relation to HIV- associated deficits in EB and TB ProM.
