Abstract:Summary and Conclusions • SN-HCV is associated with a history of IDU, elevated ALT, low platelets, black race, and undetectable HIV RNA. • The composite RF score may be a clinically useful method for selecting patients for HCV-RNA testing. • SN-HCV prevalence varied by site prevalence of seropositive HCV. • Participants with SN-HCV had worse neuropsychological performance than those with HIV alone. • Our findings, after validation in an unselected cohort, will help focus screening for SN-HCV in those at highest risk.
