Abstract:Conclusions: Earlier reports of a higher rate of aMCI in men may reflect use of conventional cut-scores. The application of sex-adjusted norms & cut-scores in verbal memory tests may improve diagnostic accuracy for aMCI and identify women at an earlier disease stage when currently available treatments may be the most beneficial.
