Abstract:"Objective: Emergent evidence indicates that time-based (TB) prospective memory (ProM), which involves the ability to execute an intention at a particular moment in the future, is impaired in persons with HIV-1 disease. The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of cognitive load on TB ProM in HIV-1. In this context, cognitive load refers to the taxation of limited capacity attentional networks whose resources are critical for episodic memory function.
